DAY 1 – WELCOME – SUMIDERO CANYON AND CHIAPA DE CORZO TOUR – MAGICAL TOWN OF SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS.
Welcome to Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport, where we'll begin a wonderful trip to Chiapas. A 25-minute transfer will take you to the dock to board a boat through the Sumidero Canyon.
Important Note: To make the most of your day, we suggest arriving in Tuxtla Gutiérrez before 1:00 PM. This will allow you to enjoy the Sumidero Canyon tour and the visit to Chiapa de Corzo at a more relaxed pace. Please bring comfortable clothing for the heat, a hat or cap, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
We will take a beautiful boat tour through the majestic Sumidero Canyon, on the Grijalva River, one of Chiapas's main tourist attractions. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to see various bird species and, with a bit of luck, monkeys and crocodiles.
Time for you to enjoy a peaceful walk through the Magical Town of Chiapa de Corzo where you will have time to explore the center with its Mudejar-style fountain, the former Santo Domingo convent, as well as the arcades surrounding the main square where you will find some handcrafted wooden items, as well as the typical Chiapaneca and Parachico costumes, and eat and taste typical dishes.
Afterwards, we will transfer you to the assigned hotel in the magical town of San Cristóbal de las Casas, a 1 hour 1/4 drive away, to check in and rest.

DAY 2 – EL CHIFLON WATERFALLS TOUR – MONTEBELLO LAKES – LAS NUBES.
Breakfast included in the hotel restaurant.
8:00 am Be ready at the hotel reception with luggage, we continue enjoying our vacation in Chiapas and head out to the Chiflón Waterfalls.
10:30 am Time to walk along the banks of the San Vicente River to reach the highest waterfall, "Velo de Novia," exploring the "Ala de Ángel" and "Suspiro" waterfalls along the way; time to cool off in the crystal-clear waters and/or take a zip line.
Tips: The optional zipline activity is not included. It's recommended to bring a change of clothes and a personal towel.
At 1:00 pm, we'll head to the Montebello Lakes National Park to observe the different shades of its lakes and lagoons surrounded by forest. Some of the lakes we'll visit are Pojoj and International Lake (on the border with Guatemala). We'll have time to eat at one of the most beautiful lakes, Lake Pojoj, and continue admiring the scenery. We'll also enjoy optional activities such as rafting or kayaking.
Note: The cost of optional activities is not included in the tour price.
4:30 pm We leave the Montebello Lakes National Park to continue the 1.5-hour transfer to the Las Nubes ecotourism center in the jungle, spending the night in rustic cabins.

DAY 3 – Tour to Las Nubes Waterfalls – Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center – Overnight stay in the Lacandon Jungle.
Breakfast included at the Ecotourism Center.
Las Nubes is a natural wonder, with its crystal-clear waterfalls and lush jungle surroundings. We'll embark on a hike within the Ecotourism Center, approximately 1.2 kilometers long, allowing us to thoroughly explore this paradisiacal place. Following the well-marked trails, we'll venture into the jungle and enjoy the soothing sounds of flowing water and birdsong. As we progress, we'll find several natural viewpoints from which to appreciate the magnitude and beauty of the waterfalls. The route takes us across suspension bridges and wooden staircases that will make the journey easier. The hike is of moderate difficulty, making it suitable for most people. Upon reaching the highest point of our hike, we'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the waterfalls and the river that winds through the jungle. This is the perfect place to relax, feel the cool breeze, and absorb the majesty of nature.
After exploring Las Nubes, we continue with a 3-hour transfer to the Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center. This center is renowned for its focus on the conservation of the scarlet macaw and other endemic species. Upon arrival, we will receive a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the conservation activities carried out at the center. We will have the opportunity to observe exotic birds in their natural habitat.
The eco-friendly cabins where we'll be staying offer a unique experience, surrounded by lush jungle and the sounds of nature. Without a doubt, an unforgettable experience that will connect us with the biodiversity of Chiapas.

DAY 4 - Tour at Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center – Roberto Barrios Waterfalls – Hotel in Palenque.

At the Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center, one of the most popular activities is the boat tour on the Lacantún River. This aquatic excursion (not included in the package) allows us to delve into the jungle from a different perspective, navigating the river's tranquil waters while appreciating the rich biodiversity that surrounds us. During the tour, we will have the opportunity to observe various species of flora and fauna, including the majestic scarlet macaw, which gives the center its name. The local guide will provide valuable information about conservation efforts and the importance of preserving this natural habitat. We will be able to hear the birdsong, the sound of the wind through the trees, and, with luck, spot some of the region's most emblematic species, such as spider monkeys and crocodiles.
This tour is suitable for all ages; it is recommended to make a prior reservation to take the boat tour.
11:00 am We continue with the 4.5-hour transfer to the Roberto Barrios Waterfalls, a lesser-known but equally impressive spot. These waterfalls offer a more intimate and tranquil experience, far from the tourist crowds. Upon arrival, we'll be greeted by a natural environment of unparalleled beauty, with multiple waterfalls creating natural pools perfect for swimming and relaxing. The trails will lead us through the rainforest, allowing us to discover the local flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
After exploring the Roberto Barrios waterfalls, we headed to the hotel in Palenque, where we could rest and recharge our energy for the next stage of our trip.

DAY 5 – TOUR TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF PALENQUE – MISOL HA AND AGUA AZUL WATERFALLS –
HOTEL NUTUTUN PALENQUE.

At 8:00 a.m., we continue for a 20-minute visit to the beautiful archaeological site of Palenque , one of the most important cities of Mayan culture. We'll explore and tour the Temple of the Skull, the Temple of the Inscriptions, the Temple of the Red Queen, the Temple of the Crosses, and the main palace of Palenque. These are some of the most important discoveries of this mythical city.
11:00 am W e continue our journey to reach the Misol-ha waterfall, a beautiful 30-meter-high waterfall with a path that will take you behind the curtain of water and give you a unique view of the place.
At 12:00 pm, we'll head to see the beautiful blue waterfalls, uniquely beautiful due to the intense turquoise color of their waters as they flow over limestone rocks. There will be plenty of time to walk and cool off in the crystal-clear waters. Lunch will be available at a traditional restaurant.
5:00 pm We will continue back to the hotel, ending the tour at approximately 7:00 pm

DAY 6 – TRANSFER TO VILLAHERMOSA TABASCO AIRPORT – END OF SERVICES.
We finish the trip to Chiapas, leaving the hotel at the indicated time to continue with the 2-hour transfer to the Villahermosa Tabasco airport, where we conclude our services.
Note: You can choose any time you prefer for your departure from the Villahermosa Tabasco airport.
Optional (with cost): Transfer to hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and end your trip in Chiapas.
