DAY 1 – WELCOME TO TUXTLA GTZ – SUMIDERO CANYON AND CHIAPA DE CORZO TOUR - MAGIC TOWN
SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS.
Welcome to Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport, where we'll begin a wonderful trip to Chiapas. A 25-minute transfer will take you to the dock to board a boat through the Sumidero Canyon.
Important Note: To make the most of your day, we suggest arriving in Tuxtla Gutiérrez before 1:00 PM. This will allow you to enjoy the Sumidero Canyon tour and the visit to Chiapa de Corzo at a more relaxed pace. Please bring comfortable clothing for the heat, a hat or cap, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
We will take a beautiful boat tour through the majestic Sumidero Canyon, on the Grijalva River, one of Chiapas's main tourist attractions. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to see various bird species and, with a bit of luck, monkeys and crocodiles.
Time for you to enjoy a peaceful walk through the Magical Town of Chiapa de Corzo where you will have time to explore the center with its Mudejar-style fountain, the former Santo Domingo convent, as well as the arcades surrounding the main square where you will find some handcrafted wooden items, as well as the typical Chiapaneca and Parachico costumes, and eat and taste typical dishes.
Afterwards, we will transfer you to the assigned hotel in the magical town of San Cristóbal de las Casas, a 1 hour 1/4 drive away, to check in and rest.

DAY 2 – TOURS TO SAN JUAN CHAMULA AND ZINACANTAN – MAGICAL TOWN OF SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS.
Breakfast is included at the hotel restaurant.
9:30 am Be ready at the hotel reception. We will travel to the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan.
In San Juan Chamula, we will visit the local church, famous for its unique blend of indigenous traditions and Catholic rites. Here, we will observe unique religious practices that combine elements of both cultures, providing a mystical and enriching experience. The atmosphere inside the church is deeply spiritual and offers a fascinating insight into the beliefs and practices of the local people.
Afterward, we'll travel to Zinacantán, where we'll have the opportunity to spend time with a local family. This encounter will allow us to learn about their customs and way of life, as well as appreciate the exquisite hand-embroidered pieces crafted by the community's artisans. Zinacantán's embroidery is known for its vibrant colors and detailed designs, reflecting the region's rich cultural heritage.
At 1:00 pm, we will conclude the tour in Zinacantán and continue our journey to our assigned hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas. The rest of the afternoon will be free to explore this charming Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) at your own pace.

DAY 3 – TOURS TO AGUA AZUL WATERFALLS AND MISOL HA – HOTEL IN PALENQUE

We will enjoy a day full of adventures and unforgettable landscapes without having to get up early, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty that Chiapas has to offer.
8:00 am Be ready at the hotel reception for our transfer to Palenque. On the way, we will visit the beautiful Agua Azul waterfalls, uniquely beautiful for the intense turquoise blue color of their waters that flow over limestone rocks. There will be enough time to walk around, refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters, and later, time for lunch at a traditional restaurant at the Agua Azul waterfalls.
Travel tip: It's recommended to bring a change of clothes and a personal towel, insect repellent, and sunscreen.
At 4:00 pm, we will continue our one-hour hike. Once at Misol-Ha, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the impressive 30-meter-high waterfall, whose cascading water forms a natural pool ideal for swimming. The path behind the waterfall offers a unique perspective, allowing you to feel the cool breeze and hear the roar of the water. The surrounding jungle and lush vegetation complete a picture-perfect scene for nature lovers and photographers.
At 6:00 pm, we will arrive at the Hotel Nututun Palenque, located on the banks of the Chacamax River, where you can relax and enjoy its facilities, which include an outdoor pool and a restaurant serving delicious regional food.

DAY 4 – TOUR TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES OF YAXCHILÁN AND BONAMPAK IN THE LACANDONA JUNGLE – USUMACINTA RIVER – PALENQUE
Desayuno incluido en restaurante en la Selva.
6:00 a.m. Estar listos en la recepción del hotel, nos embarcaremos en una emocionante aventura hacia las zonas arqueológicas de Yaxchilán y Bonampak, ubicadas en el corazón de la Selva Lacandona. Este día promete ser una inmersión profunda en la historia y cultura de la antigua civilización maya, combinada con la belleza natural de la selva y el río Usumacinta.
Nuestra primera parada será a la Frontera Corozal, desde donde tomaremos una lancha por el majestuoso río Usumacinta. Este paseo fluvial nos llevará a través de paisajes impresionantes hasta la ciudad perdida de Yaxchilán. Rodeada de una espesa vegetación, Yaxchilán se erige como una de las ciudades más bonitas del Mundo Maya.
1:00 p.m., nos detendremos para disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo (no incluido) en un restaurante local, donde podrán saborear la cocina tradicional de la región. Este momento de descanso y convivencia será ideal para recargar energías antes de continuar con la exploración de Bonampak.
Nos trasladaremos hacia Bonampak, donde podremos maravillarnos con las antiguas pinturas murales que nos transportarán al pasado de la fascinante Cultura Maya. Estas pinturas, preservadas a lo largo de los siglos, narran historias de rituales, batallas y ceremonias que revelan la vida de los mayas en su máximo esplendor.
5:00 p.m. Tras disfrutar de las maravillas arqueológicas y naturales, iniciaremos nuestro viaje de regreso hacia el hotel en Palenque. Llegaremos aproximadamente a las 7:30 p.m

DAY 5 – TOUR TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF PALENQUE – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
VILLAHERMOSA TABASCO – END OF SERVICES
We ended our trip to Chiapas on a high note, dedicating the cool morning temperatures to the archaeological site of Palenque.

8:00 am We leave the hotel with our luggage and continue to visit another of Chiapas' biggest tourist attractions:
the archaeological site of Palenque , one of the most important cities of the Mayan culture. We'll explore and tour the Temple of the Skull, the Temple of the Inscriptions, the Temple of the Red Queen, the Temple of the Crosses, and the Main Palace of Palenque. This is also one of the main discoveries of this mythical city.
Later we will transfer to the Villahermosa airport arriving at 1:00 pm
Note: We suggest taking a flight from Villahermosa to Tabasco, departing at 1:00 p.m.
Optional with cost: Transfer to hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm and ending your trip in Chiapas.
