DAY 1: welcome – sumidero canyon and chiapa de corzo tour – san cristóbal magic townof the houses.
Welcome at the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport where we will begin a wonderful trip to Chiapas. We begin the tour with transfer to the pier to take a boat through the Sumidero Canyon.
Travel recommendation: To enjoy this day, plan your arrival at the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport before 13:00hrs. to be able to enjoy the day's activities. Bring comfortable clothing for the heat, a cap or hat, and sunscreen.
We'll take a beautiful boat ride through the majestic Sumidero Canyon , on the Grijalva River, one of Chiapas' main tourist attractions. Along the way, you'll be able to observe various species of birds and, with a little luck, monkeys and crocodiles.
We will visit the colonial Chiapa de Corzo , where there will be time to explore the center with its Mudejar-style fountain and the former convent of Santo Domingo, and to eat and sample typical dishes.
Afterwards, we will transfer you for an hour and a quarter to the hotel in the magical town of San Cristóbal de las Casas to the assigned hotel to check in and rest.
DAY 2: tour to the chiflón waterfalls and montebello lagoons –
comitán de domínguez –hotel city express.

At 8:00 am, we must be ready at the hotel reception with our luggage, prepared to continue enjoying our vacation in Chiapas. We will head towards the impressive El Chiflón waterfalls.
Once at El Chiflón, we'll enjoy a walk along the San Vicente River, following a beautiful path to reach the tallest waterfall, known as "Bridal Veil." Along the way, we'll also have the opportunity to admire other incredible waterfalls such as "Angel Wing" and "Sigh." For the more adventurous, there's the option to try zip-lining, although this activity is not included in the tour.
*It is recommended to bring a change of clothes and a personal towel.
After enjoying our visit to El Chiflón, we'll head towards Montebello Lakes National Park, a natural gem of Chiapas. This park is famous for the beauty and diversity of its lakes, which range in color from turquoise to emerald, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle. Surrounded by a dense forest of pines and oaks, these lakes offer a serene atmosphere. First, we'll be amazed by Lake Pojoj, where we can ride traditional rafts and appreciate the tranquility of the water. Then, we'll continue our tour visiting other lakes such as Lake Tziscao and the international lake, which is located on the border with Guatemala.
Take photographs and enjoy local food at one of the most picturesque spots in the park.
It's important to note that the tour does not include the cost of optional activities such as zip-lining at El Chiflón and using traditional rafts at the Montebello Lakes. These additional activities can be paid for directly at the tourist sites if you choose to participate.
5:00 pm Departure from the Lagos de Montebello National Park, we continue with the 40-minute transfer to the assigned hotel in the beautiful magical town of Comitán de Domínguez.
DAY 3 – Tour to San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán – San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Breakfast is included at the hotel restaurant.
8:00 am Be ready at the hotel reception with your luggage. We will depart from the hotel in Comitán de Domínguez with an approximately three-hour transfer to reach the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán.
In San Juan Chamula, we will visit the local church, famous for its unique blend of indigenous traditions and Catholic rites. Here, we will observe unique religious practices that combine elements of both cultures, providing a mystical and enriching experience. The atmosphere inside the church is deeply spiritual and offers a fascinating insight into the beliefs and practices of the local people.
Afterward, we'll travel to Zinacantán, where we'll have the opportunity to spend time with a local family. This encounter will allow us to learn about their customs and way of life, as well as appreciate the exquisite hand-embroidered pieces crafted by the community's artisans. Zinacantán's embroidery is known for its vibrant colors and detailed designs, reflecting the region's rich cultural heritage.
At 2:00 pm, we will conclude the tour in Zinacantán and continue our journey to our assigned hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas. The rest of the afternoon will be free to explore this charming Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) at your own pace.
DAY 4: free day in san cristóbal de las casas
San Cristóbal de las Casas is one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico, known as a magical town.
Breakfast included at the hotel restaurant. Enjoy a free day and immerse yourself in the magic of this city, steeped in history, traditions, and vibrant colors. Stroll through its cobblestone alleys, sip a delicious cup of Chiapas coffee, or go shopping. San Cristóbal is home to most of the state's Chiapas handicrafts at affordable prices.
You can also visit museums such as the Amber Museum, the Jade Museum, the Coffee Museum, etc.
DAY 5 – Tour to Agua Azul and Misol-ha Waterfalls – Hotel in Palenque.
Breakfast is included at the hotel restaurant.
8:00 am Be ready at the hotel reception with your luggage. We will depart early for our destination, Palenque. The transfer to the impressive Agua Azul waterfalls takes approximately 3.5 hours. These waterfalls are known for the intense turquoise blue color of their waters, which flow over limestone formations, creating a truly spectacular landscape. We will have time to walk around the waterfalls and, for those who wish, to refresh themselves in the crystal-clear waters.
Travel recommendation: It is advisable to bring a change of clothes, a personal towel, insect repellent and sunscreen to fully enjoy this experience.
After enjoying the natural wonders of Agua Azul, we'll continue our journey to the Misol-Ha waterfalls, an impressive 30-meter-high cascade. This place offers a unique experience with its majestic path leading behind the curtain of water, providing a singular view. A visit to Misol-Ha offers an intimate connection with nature and is a perfect opportunity to take unforgettable photographs.
5:00 pm Arrival at the designated hotel in Palenque, where you can relax and enjoy the amenities of Hotel Nututun. This hotel, surrounded by lush vegetation, offers a unique and relaxing experience after a day full of adventures
DAY 6 – Tour to Palenque Archaeological Zone - Hike in Lacandon Jungle -Roberto Barrios Waterfalls - Hotel in Palenque.
Breakfast is included at the hotel restaurant.
At 10:00 am, we depart to visit another of Chiapas's major tourist attractions, the Palenque archaeological zone, one of the most important cities of the Mayan culture. We will explore the Temple of the Skull, the Temple of the Inscriptions, the Temple of the Red Queen, the Temple of the Crosses, and the Main Palace of Palenque. There will also be time to visit the site museum, which houses a replica of Pakal's tomb, one of the most significant discoveries of this mythical city.
After our visit to the archaeological site, we'll venture into the Lacandon Jungle, a place of extraordinary biodiversity and natural beauty. We'll hike along trails surrounded by lush trees and exotic plants, listening to birdsong and the whisper of the wind through the leaves. Our guide will lead us to discover hidden secrets of the jungle, and we'll have the opportunity to observe the region's unique flora and fauna. The hike offers an immersive experience that connects us deeply with nature and the splendor of the ancient Mayan civilization.
At 2:00 pm we will head to the Roberto Barrios Waterfalls, where we can refresh ourselves again in its crystal-clear waters and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. These lesser-known but equally impressive waterfalls are the perfect end to a day full of exploration and discovery.
5:00 pm Return to the Nututun Hotel.
DAY 7: transfer to villahermosa tabasco airport – end of services
We finish the trip to Chiapas, leaving with luggage from the hotel at the indicated time to continue with the 2-hour transfer to the Villahermosa Tabasco airport, where we conclude our services.
